1. Information We Collect
AK Concerts ("we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to providing an open, comprehensive guide to live concerts and events across Alaska. We collect minimal personal data:
- Newsletter Subscriptions: When you subscribe to The Weekly Alaska Beat, we collect your email address solely to deliver weekly event digests. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Event & Artist Submissions: When submitting an event or artist registration, we collect the contact details, bios, media links, and event information you provide to review and publish the listing.
- Anonymous Analytics & Geolocation: If you opt in to "Find Events Near Me," your browser calculates your approximate distance to Alaska venues locally. Your exact GPS coordinates are never transmitted or stored on our servers.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Publish and maintain accurate public event and artist directory pages.
- Send requested weekly email event guides.
- Prevent spam, abuse, and maintain site security.
3. Third-Party Services & Links
Our platform includes links to third-party venue websites, ticketing providers (e.g. Eventbrite, Ticketmaster), and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.
